Essential Rewards

Essential Rewards is completely optional but where I feel the TRUE lifestyle change happens and the smartest way to start your low-tox journey.

Essential Rewards is our customisable monthly wellness box that is free and easy to opt out of. It’s how we have cost effectively transitioned our home to low- tox. I transfer buy, meaning I no longer buy laundry soap, dish soap, hand soap, cleaning supplies, shampoo, conditioner, makeup, toothpaste, moisturiser, deodorant, baby care and supplements from the grocery store or various health stores online, I buy it all from Young Living and earn 20% back on my order! It gets delivered to our door once a month and I can trust it’s Toxic free, plant based and safe for my family. Essential rewards is where I believe the true lifestyle change happens.

When you do a “quick order” you do not get any reward points and you can not earn the free gifts each month. I personally do one large order a month so I earn 20% back in reward points and all the freebies that are offered.

I like set my date for the beginning of the month, then once I see the promos on the 1st of the month I click to process the following day and it auto ships!  


1. How many points do I earn for my Essential Rewards subscription order?

You will receive points based on a percentage of your PV for each Essential Rewards subscription order. The percentage you receive depends on how many months you have consecutively placed Essential Rewards subscription orders. There is no limit to the amount of points you can earn in a month.

  • 1-3 months: 10% of each Essential Rewards order PV

  • 4-24 months: 20% of each Essential Rewards order PV

  • 25+ months: 25% of each Essential Rewards order PV


2. Is there a minimum dollar amount for my monthly Essential Rewards subscription order?

Yes. It must be a minimum of 50pv a month ($50 US )


3. How do I redeem my rewards points?

You can redeem your points online at checkout by selecting “Apply Points” or by contacting Member Services at 1300 289 536. More information on point redemption can be found by logging in to Virtual Office and viewing the ER tutorials.


4. Can I change the items in my Essential Rewards subscription order and still receive all the benefits of the program?

Yes. You can change the items any time until 12 a.m. (midnight), on your processing date, which is determined by you when you subscribe to the program.


5. How do I join Essential Rewards?

You can subscribe in one of three easy ways:

6. Can I make changes to my Essential Rewards subscription order online?

Yes. You can make changes to your Essential Rewards subscription order online at any time.


7. If I want to cancel my subscription to the Essential Rewards program, can I do so online?

Members can cancel ER through their virtual office. The ‘cancel ER subscription’ button is below ‘change processing day.’ Clicking it will generate a pop up alert to explain the loss of benefits and asking for confirmation of cancellation. Or over the phone with one of our helpful Member Services agents. You can easily cancel Essential Rewards at anytime if it no longer suits you.


8. Do I need to place an order every month?

Yes. The Essential Rewards program offers rewards for shipments that process each month. Discounted shipping, earning loyalty gifts and rewards points, and maintaining higher rewards points percentages are contingent upon placing consecutive orders. A minimum of 50pv (US) is required to spend each month.


9. How do I earn gifts through the Essential Rewards program?

When you automatically place consecutive Essential Rewards subscription orders of 100pv a month, you can earn exclusive gifts. You’ll qualify for these gifts after you place consecutive Essential Rewards subscription orders for 3, 6, 9, and 12 months. After 12 months, you’ll receive gifts after every additional 12 months of consecutive orders.


10. How many points do I earn for my Essential Rewards order?

You will receive points based on a percentage of your PV for each Essential Rewards order. The percentage you receive depends on how many months you have consecutively placed Essential Rewards orders. There is no limit to the amount of points you can earn in a month. 1 – 3 months: 10 percent of each Essential Rewards order 4 – 24 months: 20 percent of each Essential Rewards order 25+ months: 25 percent of each Essential Rewards order


11. Are there items I can’t use my points on?

There are items that cannot be ordered when redeeming ER points: items with differing PV to cost value, products that cannot be redeemed on Essential Rewards points (subject to change):

  • Rose Essential Oil 5 ml

  • Any new product for at least 3-6 months

  • Any item without a PV value or with a differing PV value

  • Essential Rewards Program packs

  • Starter kits

  • All diffusers

12. Can I use my points to pay for my ER order?

No, because then you would be using your points to earn points. You can redeem your points through quick orders and get free product!

Although Young Living calls their wholesale customers ‘distributors’ this does NOT mean that you are signing up to sell oils and there is absolutely no pressure to do so — ever.

  • No Monthly Commitment

    You can literally just order your starter kit and that is it! Then say you decide you want more lavender a couple months later you can just pop in and buy lavender at wholesale!  (Only do the essential rewards if it is right for you to order monthly, you want to earn points and get free product)

  • No Renewal Fee

    If you choose not to partake in Essential Rewards, simply purchase a minimum of 50pv of product per year and your account stays active. That’s one order, which could be Laundry soap and dish soap

  • No Order Minimum

    Order whenever you like, as often as you like at 24% off retail prices

  • Member Number to Share

    If they order using your member number, you’ll receive compensation- if you join essential rewards and spend 100pv a month. (Again, enrolling as a “distributor” does NOT mean that you have to share oils with anyone; although, once you discover how wonderful they are, it will be hard not to tell your friends!)
